Pedhoulas Things to Do
It is one of the amazing Byzantine churches in the area that was inscribed on the World Heritage List By UNESCO in 1985.
Unfortunately I had no time enough to have the lunch as I wished to. I was in a hurry to go down the village to visit the church of Saint Michael Archangel, 1 km away.
This restaurant was advaisable by our guide and, in fact, was a great deal. We had a great buffet, including a drink, dessert and coffee, for 12 EUR.
I had the opportunity to taste some different traditional dishes such as moussaka, stuffed aubergines, tomatoes, peppers and zucchine with rice and meat, beans, a selection of meats, including souvlaki, a good selection of salads and sauces, baked potatoes and rice. For dessert, they had fresh fruit, two kinds of cakes and, if I am not wrong, rice pudding. The food was excellent! The only no was the poor house wine included in the price, but you can order another wine for a little more.
