The night life is more relaxed here. It is more orienatated to couples and those with families. There are numerous bars and restaurants to chose from. My two recommended bars in the Pernera area would be: Knights Pub - if you want something lively (they also serve good food) Nautilus Inn - if you want something more relaxed As for bars in the main part of Protaras, you should give the following a try: The Greenery (usually have a happy hour for cocktails ... try Protaras By Night) Fools and Horses (as the name suggests another theme bar based on the TV show) For restaurants in Pernera you can't go far wrong at: Kartanas Restaurant - good chicken dishes and also the meze is worth trying Steak And Ale House - which as its name implies specialises in steak though the chicken dishes are equally as good. And further down in Protaras it is worth trying: Anatolia on the main road - if you can eat all of the meze I'd like to meet you! It is a challenge that had me beaten!
Feel free to wear anything you want. There is no particular dress code. If you want nightlife this is the place to go. You can start the night off at 8pm and party on until 8am the next morning. The resort has being marketed as the next Ibiza with clubs increasing their prices according to the DJ on show. Clubs range from house and garage music to original 70's disco style. You will often find people dancing on the bars - though it is very rare that the average Cypriot will be up there with you (even when it is them that drags you up in the first place!!!) My Recommended Bars: Trotters (so called because of Only Fools & Horses) The Organ Grinder (where you can sit and watch the action in the Main Square) Bedrock (a themed Flinstone bar noted for its karaoke) As for clubs, well I would head for Carwash for its seventies and eighties music (is that a sign of my age!), and River Reggae (an outdoors venue perfect in summer)
Anything goes in Ayia Napa - from short skirts and minimalistic tops to 70s disco clothes. In September/ October I always feel overdressed because I have something warm on! every week good djs play electronic music at this place. decoration is very good. admitance fee is about 12 dollars (girls don't pay this fee) plus 2.5 dollars each beer, so students must save some money during week to have a good time there. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: famagusta

The coastal towns and cities of the Republic of Cyprus where many foreign tourists are staying have never been short of fascinating nightlife after sunset. There are hundreds of elegant nightclubs, discos and bars located in towns and districts such as Fig Tree Bay and Ayia Napa to choose from. The prestigious and impressive restaurants are also competing for customers and do not want to be left out! It seems the Chinese restaurants are competing with each other for diners as well as for prestige. Many of the Chinese restaurants at Fig Tree Bay and Ayia Napa are brightly and beautifully illuminated at night as depicted in our photograph above.
Casual wear is necessary Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: Most of the fascinating nightlife can be found at Fig Tree Bay and Ayia Napa

For a fantastic nighout, go to Ayia Napa on the eastern side of the island! Ayia Napa, about 30 mins on the road from Larnaca is a party animal's dream come true. They have one of the best stretch of beaches on the island. But leave the sea alone at night! Ayia Napa is CRAZY with its many bars and clubs offering free shots in a way of luring customers to this extremely competitive nightspot! I must have behave like a complete *** from Mars that night. Spewing at least four times that night. Have fun! Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

Ayia Napa is a unique place. It is filled with clubs and bars. My favourite clubs are Pzazz and Black and White. After clubs go to Reggae River to chill and lie down by the pool. If you enjoy the nightlife, then you absolutely have to visit Ayia Napa in Cyprus. It's the capital of uk garage, famour djs and mcs go there during summer to entertain the public.
Anything from skimpy to classy. Cypriots like to dress smart, and some clubs have a dress code. Not many clubs care about dress codes during summer, because it's too hot to wear smart clothes Leave a Comment Theme: ConcertDirections: Ayia Napa square, that's where all the action is.
