General NIghtlife: Limassol Nightlife

by jaycee1401

We heard some worrying news about the night life here and since we are between the ages of 25-29 we were not bored at all. The better night club to go to is called The Basement - which plays funky house till 2am. Quite busy with a good mixture of locals and tourists. We tended to start in Tonic for a quiet drink before we headed down to City Limits, then sometimes Rumours, and then across the road down to the Galetaxt Square (I think its called that). Walk passed the Ozzy bar down to the bottom bar for the best music. For good entertainment or a big Karaoke Bar I would head to The Irish Bar, past Rumours. We went there one night and had a good laugh with an older couple we met there and we played pool upstairs against the locals. All good fun. The bar has a good atmosphere all round.Drinks are not too bad, ranging from £1-£2 for Draught Lager and £1.50 - £3 for Vodka and Cokes. This is...

Queen Vic Pub !!: Just like home !!!

by neilward

This pub is in the harbour area, opposite the lovely white church,it always seemed to full of people,we never went there to sample the menu though, abit to much like home for me.Lots of sport events would bve shown on the large screen tvs around the bar, mind you I saw many bars offering the same facility, which did help on the Sunday when I managed to watch Arsenal beat Porto !!!!! None

Agia Napa: Agia Napa is the place for nightlife

by wadekorzan

All of the people you see lying on the beach in the photo will be in the clubs at night. There are many, many clubs in Agia Napa, so if you are looking for nightlife while on Cyprus, this is the place to come. many people stay in Agia Napa so they can enjoy the beach in the day and go out at night. If this is the kind of holiday you are looking for, this is a good place for you. I stayed in Limassol which was more central on the island, and as I did not care to gout much this worked well.

The night life!!!!

by DarthVader

There's no dearth of them in Limmasol. There's a 12 mile long road FULL of them on either side of the road...and u can pretty much walk in anywhr. the music blares out !!. but its the latest stuff catering to the yung things!! visiting from England.. Ministry of Sound and all... Places start shutting by 1.30 am tho some places are up till 4.00am. There's lots of "Ladies Bars"..nice decent but run by the local Russian Mafia...and a rip off on drinks. Especially watch what u order for the "Lady" sitting next to you becos it ll lways be the most expensive 10 pound drink!!!!!... Wear anything fashionable...tho even jeans and a polo will do...rags are a no no

Any you choose: Banging heads in the morning

After a year in Cyprus I found that for a good family night out on the East Coast is Protaris, Ayia Napa is for the kids.......most places offer free drinks with the drinks you order....it's not very strong but after the 40th free one you won't care what it tastes like....Local spirits and beer are cheap....Imported spirits and beers have a bigger price tag. Go fot the Keo beer it's cheap and after the second pint you don't care how it tastes Flip flops, shorts and shirt

Elvis Karaoke Bar: The King's in Cyprus!!

by C_L_T

Elvis is your host for the night at this great karaoke bar! It's not that big and can get quite crowded but it's definately a laugh! The cocktails are great with a wide choice and the option to have a massive 'fishbowl' cocktail.....which should be re-named 'fishtank' as they're huge!!....with novelty pipe cleaner animals and sparklers as decorations of course!! Elvis costumes optional!!

Lion's Garden: Famagusta's student nightlife

by madrazoman

every week good djs play electronic music at this place. decoration is very good. admitance fee is about 12 dollars (girls don't pay this fee) plus 2.5 dollars each beer, so students must save some money during week to have a good time there.

The town of Ayia Napa: Party 'til you puke!

by ortoft

In the centre of Ayia Napa ther is a old 11th century monastery and a small plaza. Around this most of the bigger nightclubs are located. But all over town there is karaokebars, pubs, strange looking bars, swedish bars, german bars, brittish bars - it has it all! It's impossible to pick out a specific place. I think there is over 150 bars and nightclubs in this small town. Heaven on earth for the party hungry tourist.
