I didn't really hit the nightspots as such although quite a few of our group did and said that some of them were quite good. One of the boys managed to go into the wrong sort of 'club' and couldn't understand why it was full of Russian women. The fact that it was next to the Port should have been a clue!Many of the restauarants have extensive open air areas and either play music or provide entertainment such as a 'belly dancer' These girls were much better than those a saw in Turkey. There is little pressure on you to leave after you've finished your meal so you could spend all night in your restaurant. The most scenic restaurant was The Lemon Tree at Belapais, where you could sit on the roof with the Abbey gleaming beside you and the lights of Kyrenia twinkling below.
The M/S Norwegian Dream provided Broadway style shows either in the Stardust Showroom or the Observation Lounge in addition to piano music, comedians, magicians, etc., in the various other lounges aboard the ship during our stay in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Nightlife is really bursting in Cyprus. But... you must know where to go not to find yourself in some strange place. I would recommend Shamrock Dance Club in Nicosia.What it makes different from other places we've been is that it's a mixture of both Cyprus and more Western European type clubs. All kind of music, all kind of people, all nationalities, all styles. The place is very popular among non-Cypriots who are studying or working in Cyprus and who would like to mix with other non-Cypriots. The club is full on Fridays and Saturdays. Other days you may find it empty. No special dressing code is required.
As far as nightlife is concerned, all major tourist towns offer plenty of drinking joints, karaoke bars and nightclubs. The main clubbing spot is Ayia Napa, but in cities as Larnaca, Limasol and Paphos there's also enough to do after dark!
In Nicosia, Laiki Yitonia is a must for a visit where the nightlife comes alive with people from all over the globe. You can taste Cyprus cousine at its best and the entertainment is great. Mingle with the local people and enjoy Cypriot hospitality. You see I grew up in that street and I should know :)
Where do I start , in ayia napa there is so much nightlife you are spoilt for choice, bars I liked best were the Bedrock Inn, Minos, and the Dive Inn. Clubs were the Spot, Emporium, Abyss, there are loads.Anyone who is into garage music and House music will find a club to suit them, you dont always have to stay in Ayia Napa, Limasol and Nicosia are worth a try if you travel by car. Sexy sassy Ladies and smart men are a must.

Nightlife in Cyprus is great. You have all kinds of pubs, disco, nightclubs,... You name it, they've got it. No specific dress code. Dress smart and you'll be admited everywhere.
