Packing List
Something extra large if you are like me! Any footwear that you bring with you will get very dusty. High, thin heels are hazardous in a country where some of the pavements can be poor. My friend Pete will vouch for the fact that on a 5 day visit I arrived with 6 pairs of shoes. He looked in horror when he saw them all! I took even more when I was working over there. Bring lots of high factor sun cream with you. You will need it in summer. Also bring lots of after sun. Don't forget your makeup (especially the concealer) as it can be quite costly in the resort areas and it is also difficult to find some of the more well known brands that I am used to in the UK. (In an emergency head to Woolworths in Nicossia). Other toiletries on the other hand are a comparable or lower price than in the UK. Films and develoment costs are higher than in the UK.
