The restaurant was situated on the Lachi harbour like the other tavernas in the area. Did not have anything unique about it nor was the food excellent. Yet it was overpriced!!!We ordered calamari and they brought us two plates with calamari and a small plate of chips, we had to ask for another one plate. Also no salad or veg on the side yet they tried to sell us a separate salad. We spent more there than on any other taverna in Lachi and we ordered less food than the other times we ate in the area. Food was not bad but it was not exquisite. Calamari was nice but swordfish was tasteless. Also, the portions were small comparative to the price.

The restaurant is in two parts. First of all there is the 150-seat, magnificent air-conditioned restaurant building with its autenthic interior. After it burned down back in 2004, owner Nestoras Neophytou has left nothing to imagination, to restore it even more beautiful then it was before.
Then there's the 180-seat outside terrace, on the upper reaches of the beach itself. Any closer to the water and you'd be watching out for every wave!

Having decided to eat at this restaurant this evening was a mistake. While the menu looked very inviting and our drinks order was taken promptly, the subsequent service was appalling.
There was only one lady working, both taking the orders and serving the food while another was merely standing around watching and contributing nothing. the tables became piled up with dirty plates and the service stopped completely for about ten minutes for no apparent reason. We ordered further drinks that never came and the food, when it did eventually arrive appeared to have been sitting around and was cold and congealed.
The 'standing around woman' asked if everything was OK and when told 'NO', she simply walked away. The busy lady came over and asked about the food. when we repeated our complaint, she remarked that it wasn't that bad as we had eaten it, even though one plate of food was virtually untouched.
Maybe it was just a bad night but you have been warned.

Address: Latchi Harbour, next to Yiotis supermarket.
Trendy Bar opened in 2006, a place for the Trendy set, but thier saving grace is that they serve a decent pint of John Smith's.
I must say that the service there was excellent, with free bowls of tortilla chips, nut and slithers of fresh melon.

A restaurant set above the beach, we stopped off thier on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful Lamb dinner. There is nothing fancy about this place, its a good place to eat when your in beach mode.

This Taverna is set right on the beach and has wonderful views of the sunset.
