Favorite thing: 2005 The cafe I reported on last year has moved to just off the main square (see picture). Friendly helpful owners. Good selection of drinks and the home made cakes seem very popular.

At the current time (2004) there is only one location to get on-line in Polis. A local computer shop which was just setting up in August. Very friendly. Easy to find (Polis isn't a big place) and keeps your kids happy once they start to miss the old games.

Our boat for the week - Sexbomb!

Favorite thing: Polis is a fishing village and the coast which extends up the Akamas is so inviting. We took a speedboat every day to snorkle the bays and points. Exhilarating!

The Polis area is a great place to chill out. Loads of nice restaurants, touristy but not too noisy (certainly not an Ayia Napa). Great places to walk or take a mountain bike around. Not a great beech...

Captivating Cyprus

We visited Cyprus for the first time this year and enjoyed it very much. We travelled to the Polis/Latchi area on the west coast. This is the quiet side of the island and we were very near the Akamas...

I just have to say the policeman at the police station is the best looking guy on the island! :)
