aphrodite half marathon & 5k fun run
The Aphrodite 21k half-marathon and 5k fun run are an excellent excuse to travel to Cyprus if you like to run and do not fancy sitting on the beach your entire holiday. The runners club in Nicosia plans and organizes 4-5-6 and 21k runs all over the island between March/April and October/November in Cyprus. Entrance fees are a token CYP5-8 for residents and slightly more for visitors to Cyprus and include a host of goodies like free food and beverage supplied by KEO as well as tee shirts and gym bags for some races. In some cases the registration is free for the fun runs, so there is no excuse not to take part whether you are a serious runner or not?This year's half marathon in Pafos was well organized and the weather cooperated to give us a near perfect day.
