The two major airports for Cyprus are located in Larnaca in the south east and in Pafos in the south west. There is an airport in Nicosia, but it is in the Republic of N. Cyprus. Pafos is the smaller of the two airports. It is mostly serviced by charters and by Cyprus Airlines. Please see link at the bottom of this page for which airlines fly in and out of Cyprus. It is a very good portal for information on airlines. The distances in Cyprus are not that great. From the Pafos airport you can easily take a taxi to Polis or Limassol which are 60-70 kms each from the airport. The average taxi costs CYP 25 during the day and CYP 28 at night. A return fare is around CYP 35. The city of Pafos itself is only 12 km from the airport. The Pafos airport is very small with a dirth of shopping and duty free possibilities.
