There were rats scurrying in the trees overhead, bird crap everywhere in the little cesspool stank of urine and was unfit for anyliving being.(though I think I saw aa eel!)

Nissi Beach in July and August. It is so crowded with people that you can hardly move. You acn hardly move because the sunbeds are virtually on top of each other.
If you're in Ayia Napa head to Macronnossis or the harbour beach (in front of the Grecian Bay). They are much quieter in August and the quality of the sea for swimming is much higher. Leave a Comment

No need to peek at them secretly the walls are down now you can walk to turkish side and take a closer look they are no different from any other peoples of the world.
No need to fall for another tourist trap..
Turks got an ambargo and Greek side just joined the EU.

The Greeks on south will tell you North Cyprus is an occupied area...Wrong !
The turkish soldiers are only there to protect the turks living there which Greeks wants to get rid of..
Anyone can come and go freely..friendly people,lot cheaper then Greek side..
You can go to South(Greek side) which is very much like,Paris,London or any big prosperous city,we got ambargo so not much

When you walk outside here and look at the menu, that's all that is needed for Tony to appear (a la Mr Ben) like magic and gentle patter you up to bring you inside. Once inside, getting your bill so you can leave is the real fun part of your evening. Watch out if you get asked if you want to join a quiz, as soon as you say YES, you then get charged 1.00 to take part!!! SOUND AS A POUND may be the phrase he uses, but COOL AND SLICK would be better.
Enjoy the food as it is good, but make sure you take your time in everything you do and don't go at their pace. When you want to leave, be forceful and don't take “NO” for an answer.

Just be careful of the taxi drivers. They are not all reputable taking people out of their way and demanding extortionate prices. Fix your price before you even get into the vehicle.
Be careful with the car hire firms, even the well known companies. Not all of them believe in insuring the cars but they will still take your money. Make sure you have all your documentation with you incase you are stopped by the police. Leave a Comment
