Favorite thing: No Doubt...The famous Charles Bridge, I just loved this place. One of the things i mostly enjoyed there is charles bridge. It was so fun, relaxing and romantic ! So many people walking around, many artist all a long, some paint some sell other things and some were just Music players. There was a Man who played some music in a Saxophone and made the atmosphere there so nice ..i cant forget that... I returned there everyday as it was my favourite place !
Charles Bridge. Maybe the more beautiful bridge all over the world, its 30 statues, make the bridge a barroquian sculpture museum.
Do not forget touch John Nepomucenus statue if you want come back to Prague.
Favorite thing: Walk across the Charles Bridge. Prague by night is so lovely. I was lucky enough to be in Prague in June, when the weather wasn't too cold to go and explore the beautiful cobbled streets and old buildings by night. (Left: a picture of the famous Charles Bridge by night, you can see Prague castle in the background)
Favorite thing: Karlov Most The bridge that connects the two parts of Prague.Tis picture shows one of the many statues at that famous bridge. For more pictures, take a look at my travelogue
Favorite thing: Here you are atop ancient Charles Bridge. I have heard it called an 'open-air gallery' as it is lined with many sculptures of saints. This bridge crosses the Vltava and connects the Old Town with the Lesser Town. You will find many great photos for sale in Prague, especially along this bridge. Many of the photos feature Charles bridge, looking mystical and isolated, swirling with fog etc. etc. I suggest you purchase one (I did!), as there were so many tourists at this site (even in low season) it was very difficult to get a clear shot of anything.
Walk over The Charles Bridge (Karlov Most) in the middle of the night.
I first visited Prague in the summer and vowed to come back in the dead of winter, because I sensed it would be even more celestial...and I was right.
Fondest memory: Walking over the Charles Bridge with my boyfriend at 4 am and it was lightly snowing. It was a perfect end to our stay in Prague.
This pic shows the view from the bridge looking toward the new city.
Stroll along the bridge in the daytime or nightime and people watch, buy a souvenier, or just enjoy one of the statues along the sides. Whatever you do there it is worth the time spent. We used the bridge almost every day both for crossing the river and just to enjoy the 'bridge people' themselves.
Try to come early in the morning before all tourist come.
Then you can make many beutiful photos like this...
Favorite thing: Visit the Charles Bridge. If you don't you will be probably the first tourist ever to skip this place....
Favorite thing: Walk around the Charles Bridge (Karluv Most) area and then stroll across to the Lesser Town (Mala Strana) for a night cap.
Favorite thing: Rise above Charles Bridge to take the view. Can be a tad cold and windy, but bery much worthy of a visit.
Favorite thing: Here are some of the vendors set up on the bridge, and the gate on the opposite side is visible behind Michelle.
Favorite thing: The Charles bridge had to be my favourite in Prague, there are many, many bridges in this great city...Yet this was most enchanting with views.
Favorite thing: Charles Bridge - To find the bridge so empty you need to get up really early. Most of the time it is pack with turists and artists.
Favorite thing: Charles Bridge - The main way to the castle is a very enjoyable pedestrian bridge where you will find street performers and artists.
