Roxy Club: Gigs and dance
In november 2002, when I travelled to Prague, there were some Romanian groups in the city and doing very nice concerts.
One of those was hold in Roxy Club and was really great dance and fun. Full of people dancing and dancing.
Before that spot, I never listened Romanian music and since then, is one of my favourites.... but maybe is attached the remember of the great concert to it, which was all an experience.
Dress Code: No dress code, whihc is more interesting...
Roxy Club: Not another Euro-cheese club!
Decent Dj's, no goons and not often many stag parties. Really varied line up and cheap cocktails in the back bar.
Converted theatre similar to the Opera house in Bournemouth but much cheaper drinks.
Dress Code: No , thankfully
Roxy Club: The best in prague - The roxy ROCKS
The roxy is amazing, a huge dancefloor, mr c was actually playing the night we were there! The ice room is where they place drum and bass, with everything covered in what appears to be 'ice'. there is also a games room where you can play fuseball at three in the moring! The girls are gorgeous but unfortunatel i go way too drunk. It was the same night England got beat by France in the World cup so i decided to take on some french boys. We came out on top aainst the french, but not the bouncers! You see the Czechs took our side so i guess they needed us out to diffuse the situation. We didnt care, it was already 4 or 5 and we hadnt gone to a strip club yet that night! Amsterdam Club in Zeeburg has nice hookers, but, yeah, you guessed it, got chucked outta there as well!!!
Dress Code: Anthing by UK standards is spot on
Roxy Club: Don't take this seriously
OK, here is the obligatory review of Roxy. It is a club, yes, albeit a lazy option. Roxy is close to old town, and to many of the bars you'll be going to in the evening. Thus, it is a good option if you really want to hit a club, but don't want to cab it to Nebe (Iron Gate) or Mecca. But don't expect to have fun here unless you are with drunk friends, and don't take the place too seriously. DO NOT plan your evening around this place, but treat it more as a stop along the way to greater things (even if this greater thing is Picante).

Roxy Club: Techno and Live Concerts
I really like the place. Very alternative. It’s important to see the program of the events first (look in the web site http://klub.roxy.cz/). There are concerts, art exhibitions, dj´s etc…

I'm not sure if it's still...
I'm not sure if it's still open, but if you're a fan of electronic/house music, you have to go to the Roxy!
It is an old movie theatre, turned club with the DJ platform where the movie screen used to be and a balcony overlooking the dance floor
Dress Code: anything goes! The crazier and more far out the better. But it can get VERY hot.
Visit the night club Roxy,...
Visit the night club Roxy, experimental parties and performances, DJs, cult movies.... Not beautiful surroundings, but you can do anything you want (lie on the floor, dance on the stage, smoke ganja) and nobody cares.
Nothing too clean and light colored for it is dirty there. :) Nobody will criticize you for your clothes.
The Roxy: The Roxy
The Roxy is the quinticential European club. It's in a unique space (a gutted theater), plays insanely loud house music, and filled with good dancers. I hate house music and still danced my ass off, which was a problem because I've had no ass since. Beautiful people, ice in the drinks, and a concrete floor with lots of holes in it.
Dress Code: none, but if you don't look good, you'll feel stupid.
Roxy Club: Smoke, speed,drugs....
My friends (Alena&Tanya) ahve seduced me to visit that clubs...
I didnt like tha kind of place:techno music, not for me..Club, looks like it was cinema in past! There is big holl, where people dance and few small rooms where peolpe drink beers, absent, beherovka and smoke grass..

Roxy Club: great nightclub
The first night in Prague we went to Roxy cos we learned that there was a DJ playing trance/house music. We went there pretty early so there was not much people there, but the bartender told us the people would arrive around midnight, like they did. The interior of the club was nice, the whole club was kinda big. I could imagine a big electronic music party there and having a blast while partying!
Roxy Club: alternative stuff
well hard to say
it is an old theather converted to be a place where to experiment music and play live music
sincerly i didn't like so much the music they plaied when i was there.such a too strong and repeating techno
but i know they also use to organize rock nights... two weeks ago franz ferdinand play there
anyway the atmosphere is really nice
that night the average age was around 22-23

roxy: the biggest techno club
the roxy is the biggest techno club i visited ( i know there is radost fx but it sounded really cheezy). there are a lot of tourists here since it's in prague 1 and a motherly british tourist asked me if "happened to know by any change where the coke was" which of course i didn't. there was water damage and the crowd was cheezy when i went but it was a friday. they have some crazy drum and bass lineups... later that january ltj bukem was supposed to spin...

Club Roxy: Thumping music
Club Roxy was recommended to me because of the dance/trance music and the light displays and it didn't disappoint.
