Lvi Dvur: Lvi Dvur in Prazsky Hrad
Year 2003: Cozy place in old style with good meal and service.
Visit this place after walking around Prazsky Hrad!!!
Located in the beautiful surroundings of the Prague Castle. The restaurant serves The Prague Piglet according to a recipe of the Renaissance period and specialties of international cuisine.
Year 2013: this place changed. We were not pleased with our last visit. The service was extremely poor and not welcoming.
Favorite Dish: daily 11-24
Sorry: Not recommended. :(

Lvi Dvur: Lvi Dvur -Lions Court
Lvi Dvur means the Lion Court. Its near the entrance to the Royal Gardens of the Castle. So-called as it was the former private zoo of Rudolph II where the former emperor heated the cages during the cold winter months for his beloved animals. Today guests at the tables are greeted with animal drawings on the walls and placemats with the emperor's lions, lynxes, leopards and wolves.
Favorite Dish: Fortunately these animals are not on the menu here although there is plenty of choice.
We were glad we saved room for the delicious desserts - our choice was cheese cake and apple strudel with caramel sauce.
Lvi Dvur: Lvi Dvur - Prague Piglet
A lovely restaurant just near the castle gardens. Excellent friendly service.
Favorite Dish: The Prague piglet with kettle chips and accompanying sauces and salad is the speciality here but I enjoyed the Castle Skewer (a mixed meat kebab) served with roast potatoes, vegetables and sauces)
Dessert was a delicious cream cheese cake.
The whole meal was delicious - I couldn't understand why we virtually had the place to ourselves, although I wasn't complaining.
A great anniversary meal here.
