Translated it is called the Three Golden Stars and we called in here on first day walking round for something to warm us up and they had a really nice onion soup which warmed us up no end and it was washed down with a lovely dark beer. Even though the place was quite full it didn't take too long to get served and everyone in the place seemed to be enjoying their food.
This restaurant was recommended for good fried cheese. It is in the northern part of Mala Strana. I think it was on Tomasska. Nicole had the fried cheese. I had some more goulash. We both had soup to start. And we both had pilsners. This was a typical local Czech place with traditional food. Food and drinks were about 400 Kč before tip.
Favorite Dish:
Fried cheese
Great and charming place in medieval style.
The ceiling is made of painted vault arches and the atmosphere is very "Old Prague" style.
The waiters are kind and do all their best to assist you in your food selection. The service is not included so leave 10% of the bill.
6 euros menus are available for lunch.
Favorite Dish:
Onion soup with bread and cheese
Roast duck
U Tri Zlatych Hvezd is a traditional Czech restaurant near St. Nicholas Church in Mala Strana. The decor is a little stuffy inside, but the service is friendly. This is definitely geared towards tourists, but prices are more reasonable than on Old Town Square.
Hours are 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM daily.
Favorite Dish:
We stopped here for lunch. I had the roast duck and a bowl of onion soup. The duck was good and the soup was excellent.
