    Bus stop location in the airport

    you can get a three day ticket valid for metro, tram and bus for about 700 CZK at the trainstation Hlavni nadrazi. also one day tickets available.

    Museum is the stop which opens up at Vaclavske Namesti. The beginning of the central prague where you can start your tourist walk. Also here is the museum.

    There are signs to show which metro stops have lift on the metro map. Line C have many. So living close to the C metro line would be a good idea.

    If you are staying near old town, probably you don need to take a bus ride. But some areas of Prague are connected to the centre by only buses.

    For some routes tram color is different. To go to some places (e.g. to visit Prague castle), tram ride is necessary unless you really want to walk uphill.

    Prague has a good tram network. This is a country from former east block where public transport is really good. Trams are regularly checked for tickets, so don't risk.

    Metro Lines

    Metro is the fastest and spread over both side of Vltava river. To go to the tourist destinations you have to change to old lines A and B.

    Hlavni Nadrazi is the main rail station. If you are coming by train from other Europan countries or just want to have a trip inside Czech republic. You can take Metro line C.

    Prague Metro

    Prague has three different lines of Metro. Line C is the most frequent and the fastest one. Metro is part of the integrated public transport system.

    If you plan to take a tram once, take the Nr. 20 if possible. It passes by various sights and you can watch the city while sitting.

    vintage car

    A vintage way of sightseeing historical Prague is by these old cars. Bit costly though at 800 czk for 2 persons and 1200 czk for 3-4 persons for just 40-50 minutes.
