by train 2 hours from Prague to Hradec Kralove

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

There is quite a fast train-connection from Prague to Hradec Kralove / Koeniggraetz.
Some of the trains are direct, with some you have to change once or twice, but the total time for the train is always around 2 hours or a bit more.

Take your car to Hradec Kralove / Koeniggraetz

by globetrott Written Aug 17, 2004

    4 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

You may take your car in order to get to Hradec Kralove - it is east of Prague and Kutna Hora, between Olomouc and Liberec.
You will find a large parking directely on the main square and along the river Labe / Elbe.
On Main Square you have to pay for the parking, and at the river it is free of charge ( and just about 5 minutes to walk to the centre)

When driving in Czechia always calculate some extra time for bad road-conditions, deviations and trafic-jams !

Hradec Kralove ligt aan de E67...

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Bus

by travelife Updated Jul 10, 2006

Like all other medium sized Czech cities / towns, Hrdec Kralove has also good network of buses. I felt its rather a long walk from the rail station to the old town centre. Tho you may take the walk on the way to while coming back its just a good idea to take the bus to Nadrazi (rail station).
