PRIBOR - 50km east of Olomouc
Pribor / Freiberg is a small town, about 50 km east of Olomouc. It has a nice townsquare, like you may see them at many places in Czechia, and it would not make sense to make a stopover there, except for lunch or dinner........but mainly Pribor / Freiberg is well known as the birthplace of Siegmund Freud, who was born there in may 6th, 1856 in Zamecnicka 117. Freud lived there only until he was 4, then his parents left for Vienna ( where you may still see his appartment and ordination in a museum in Berggasse 19, close to Votivkirche)Freud came back to Pribor once in 1872 for a small vacation..
