dein Says: there are two ways how to explore the abyss:more comfortable for me was from the bottom ... for that you have to enter Punkevni jaskyne caves...there are quite queues so come in the morning to get a good ticket (especially in the summer season)

The Macocha Abbyss - a view from the top
bmalchi Says: Once you go out of the Punkva cave you can go up the cable car to the top of the mountain. From there you can look down the steep Abbyss, to the place you saw from inside the cave. You can also take a hike to the surrounding forest, or just drink a coffie in the coffie shop.

Hotel Amphone - Brno: Where to stay
bmalchi Says: A small hotel near the north of Brno center.The restaurant is very good. Rooms are decent, not more, but as all of the czech republic, without heavy shades, thus making you wake up at 5 AM.There is no reason to recommend. Restaurant, location.

marzia3 Says: In caves is temperature about 8 degrees, so take a warm jacket, specially if you plan to visit more than one cave. It can be cold. good to use repelent, you can catch a tick. good bateries, there is a fee 40 czk per camera.
