Out on the Tiles

by stakhanov

Although Prague has some of the best clubs and pubs in Europe, the place is full of English and German tourists who are on stag and hen weekends. It is best to aovid some of the pubs near Stare Mesto and Wenceslas Square. (Vaclav Namesti)

Stodolni Ulice: One entire street *

by cabessas

Stodolni is a street full of pubs and nightclubs in the inudstrial city of Ostrava. There are atractions for everyone from the small pub where you can have a beer to the crowded disco or the strip-tease club. I was never asked an entrance fee on any of the places I have been to, so it is a positive remark. I was told the Ice Hockey ¡§legends¡¨ Jaromir Jagr and Dominik Hasek don¡¦t miss a night at this street when go come on holliday to the Czech Republic! You might meet them and have a beer toghether! ƒº Dress casually!

ROXY: Prague's most well known club.

by Ivapeeva

After a good dinner at U Sadlu (see my restaurant tip), walk down Dlouha St. to the ROXY...Prague's big dance club. It reminds me of San Francisco's "1015 Folsom" dance club. This place has a main stage and dance floor as well as smaller rooms throughout the club that play different beats. At the bar, they serve Absinth which all the foreign kids seem to gobble up. :) I had a great time just roaming the halls/rooms and czeching out the scene. The website lists all the upcoming events and live concerts, so do some homework before you go to make sure the music that night fits your style. You'll see the younger crowd that's looking to dance, drink, trip-out on serious trance beats - or whatever is on the menu for the night. Cover fee is steep - about $15 to $20USD just to get in, but if you're in Prague just for a little while, it's worth it.

Club Mecca: A journey to Mecca.

by skullcrusher

I was told by many people that this is the best club in Prague. It has multiple dancing areas with various types of music. It has an "Ibiza" atmosphere to it. Coat & ties aren't required (mercifully), but you'll definitely want to dress nice when you visit this club or else you'll look out of place. The Czechs tend to dress quite well when they're out clubing.

Czech Republic has a lot of...

by prazacek

Czech Republic has a lot of night clubs - especially in border area with Germany and Austria. The most known city of night clubs is Dubi, but that is mostly known as a 'prostitution paradise'. But all the bigger cities (Prague, Brno, Pilsen, Usti nad Labem, Carlsbad) have a lot of night clubs with music and dancing girls :) But Czech Republic doesn't have only night clubs! There is a plenty of pubs, bars and clubs which you can visit. Almost every town has its own club and EVERY village has its own pub. Prague has the best clubs and most of luxury hotels, but other cities (such as Carlsbad or Brno) have clubs and luxury hotels too. Prague has some of the best European clubs (Karlovy Lazne Club [Carlsbad Club], Radost FX Club, Roxy Club).
