Market Square: Authentic Czech you won't find in Prague
Everything from glass flasks to hand made leather shoes. Every weekend the open square in front of Sv. Bartolomeje's church turns into a bazaar. Local craftsmen, as well as Plzen retailers, put up tents full of glass, ceramic, wood and leather goods. Some of it is kitchy/touristy/souveniery, but you can get your hands on a good find. It's also a great place to peaple watch.
