Beware of women waving at you as you drive past in your car! This happened to us twice and it was so strange as these women were ordinarily clad and standing in busy areas, it just caught us totally offguard!
It can be also scary - as was our experience - as a blonde, long haired lady wearing a white dress waved at us in the dark... could almost be mistaken for a ghost!!!

Every town in Czechia has its own system in order to solve this problem...
...here in Plzen you will find these great boxes with paperbags, and I am sure it will be quite expensive, when you will not use them !

This car was parked incorrectely close to the theatre and was blocked immediately by the police.
Especially in the centre of town trafic and parking of a car is restricted by so many explanations,written in Czechian language only, and most tourists will not be able to understand them.

Always keep in mind, that driving a car in Czech Republic means to have
NOT MORE THAN 0,0 PROMILLE !!!
It will be extra-hard to obey this in a place like Plzen - so take the train, go hitch-hiking, or get somebody else to drive !
police is friendly and helpful, but you may see them at many places watching out for their clients !

I usually have bad memories when I think about this city. I got food poison here in Plzen. I dont remember the name of the restaurant, but the chef had long hair. I saw the chef, so I know.

Watch where you step, the streets in the old town are cobblestones. You can fall easily.
