When you come to Trojanovice by car, you have to park your car at large parking and then have to walk more 700 m to the chair lift because cars have driving ban to go on.

Fees for adult person are 60.00 Kc per one way and round trip costs 90.00. Children pay 35.00 Kc and 45.00 Kc for round trip.

Lower station is sitauted at 635 m / 2083 ft and upper station lays about 380 m higer in 1014 m 3326 ft above sea level.

On the second weekend in January (this year it was 12th annual), there was Snowy Kingdom taking place. Teams were made of one main sculptor and two or three people who help.

The first there are grade builders, that make large 3-meter high and 3 meters diameter snowy rolls with cubatue of 23 m3 of snow. Of course, snow has to be properly hardpacked so sculptors make their statues using digging spades and other tools.

The arragements take one week, when finally on Sunday you can admire their production.
This year there were artists from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
The sculptures had their names as Noseheads, Come to my breast, Phoenix or Mosque. The last named one was built by children from a primary school.

I just was on my way home from the Snowy exibition, when I found there was a contest of young pupils-skiers 10-15-year old. What a fun. I was surprised. So young children and how they were able to compete. They really did a great slalom!!! Although it was a regular ski contest, you can entrance to see them for free. Ski competation take both days in the weekend, just the same weekend while "the Snowy Kingdom".
