Being in Sternberk do not miss Vyglyadova Vezha (Watching Tower).
It was built in a forest near the castle by very witted guys. The height of the tower is just the same as surrounding trees, so it could not be seen from road or any other palce. But due to the fact it was built on the very top of the hill, you can see outskirts from it easily.

Favorite thing: Sternberk is inhabited castle. In 1950-s it was returned to its owner - Duke Sternberg (Austrian). His family occupies some rooms in the castle and supervise over museum. Sometimes duke came out to meet guests and groups of tourists and provide guided tours by himself.
