We found this shop on one of the streets of Kutna Hora which sold morbid puppets. Witches with stake through their hearts, creatures of the night, devils with horns, women with rocks tied around their necks...etc
I lugged two around throughout my travels, one for myself and one for a friend. They were just too morbid to pass up.
Several shops sell these interesting, weird puppets. A great and unique souvenir.
This is what they offer :
Great artificial bones, set into works of art...
NOT AT ALL so very special as in Kutna Hora but where else may you buy stuff like that ??
What to pay: The prices are a bit higher than other chandeliers in Czechia, but certainly still cheaper than in Your country !
I saw this in an arcade in Prague : Chandeliers and other works of art made by plastic-bones ( but almost NO difference to be seen to the real bones )
What to buy: If you like the bone-works of art, it might be funny to take home a chandellier, made of (artificial) bones and fully electrified.
What to pay: This one, fully electrified is 13.000 Kronen ( ca. 450 $)
This little shop has inexpensive souvenirs and tourist information. There are also public facilities inside (Czk 5.00).
What to buy: Key chains, mugs, postcards etc.
What to pay: from Czk 20.00
