3 days in Tabor is TOO much... But I had to stay there because of force majeure circumstances...
Despite my overstay I still consider that a half-day trip should be quite ok.... Especially if one wants not to pay too much for a hotel in Prague . . .
But one thing anyone should bear in mind is that Book The Overnight Place in advance as at 10 o'clock in the evening when I arrived in Tabor, I had such an impression that I was in a dead city

To escape from the never ending rain in the Pisek region, we took the train to Tabor, 45 km east of Pisek.

Tabor was founded by the Hussite followers as a fortified military settlement in 1420. It's an interesting town still surrounded by medieval fortifications and a labyrinth of underground passages...
