Watch out for the gorillas on the Czech underground.They are undercover ticket inspecters and they never smile, but as Svejk says 'just grin and bear it'..and that's if you HAVE a ticket!
Taxidrivers always try to rip you off!! Best thing is to set a price before entering the taxi and bargening can save you 50 or more percent..
Don't walk across the street on red it will cost you czk 200+ which you have to pay on the spot. They hide behind the wall and show up when it's to late. Right at the entrance of the bridge.

Pick pockets and people trying to sell you phony money. This is mostly around the train station and bus stops. It is expensive, but only use certified exchange booths. The beer is cheap anyway.
The local cuisine, while hearty, tasty, and inexpensive, is perhaps not the healthiest.

Watch out at Hlavni Nadrazi (Main Train Station). The theifs and pickpockets are rampant there, I got my camera stolen from a backpack!!
