Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I had to survive a snowstorm in Aarhus in 13 th July in 1988. It was freezing cold also.
Make sure you have warm clothing and umbrella even if you are travelling in summer, as well as shorts.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: insect repellants may be necessary, sometimes there are many small flies around.
Photo Equipment: supplies are quite expensive in Denmark in general.. Buy them in Germany if possible.

Luggage and bags: Don't overpack--you might be walking with your luggage, so keep the amount of stuff you bring to a minimum. Large backpacks are the best and most practical.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear whatever you want--no worries--but you might want to bring your "cool" clothes if you want to blend in a bit.
Photo Equipment: Bring as much as film as possible or lots of memory if you bring a digicam.
Miscellaneous: Don't forget to bring voltage adaptors--and only if you have a transformer. Continental two-pin adaptors are necessary, and most electrical items without transformers will not take 220 volt electricity.

Miscellaneous: They can make big waves in the pool like being at sea and in a storm. The fireman could go into the boat (dinky) but non of them wanted to experience the waves of a hurrican!

Miscellaneous: This is also a practical test for the special air you need as a fireman. They had to climb, and snake and jump and all kind of funny things, but it wasnt that bad if you see this eyes through the mask....they are still laughing!

Miscellaneous: No they didnt had a nice swimm, cause this swimmingpool is also in the fireschool. On the rightside of the picture you can see a 'dinky' the survivalboat if you work on a oil platform and on some boats. Here they learn you the technics to stay alive in it.

Miscellaneous: You need to have air when you go into a suite you just saw. To practice this breathing (cause you have to breath out harder then you normally do) they had to walk on a kind of tredmill for a while.

Miscellaneous: At every school there is not only the pratical part of something but also the theoretic part. Overhere the men are learning what can happen with pure ammonia and what you have to do to stay healthy.

Miscellaneous: Ones you are finished your job you are allowed to get undressed. First you have to take a shower, with your suite still on!!!! Otherwise would the people helping you getting out of the suite be ill of the ammonia. The person getting out of the suite is sitting down on a chair (cause the work in a suite like that is very heavy and you are very tired when you have finished the job) and other peole help you getting undressed. Like old times when you were a little kid !!

Miscellaneous: If you look very close you can see the blue bag on the rightside of the picture. And its not that flat anymore, its fulling up with the pure ammonia....the two fireman are even harder to see then at first.

Miscellaneous: This piece of pipe is rebuild after a machine with pure ammonia. This pipes let pure ammonia run from a - z. On different spots can be a leeck again made by the teachers. The blue bags can be helpfull. You can put them over the leeck and collect the pure ammonia so an other person has more vieuw to close the leeck.
