Ebeltoft Travel Guide

 silleh Says:  "Karpenhøj Natur og Friluftsgård" is a very beautiful outdoor area - perfect for a walk - with wooden statues from the Nordic mythology - this is really amazing!!

 travelife Says:  A kro's limited capacity forces you to book early if you wanna stay overnight in this kind of arrangement. 

 travelife Says:  The glass museum is a good place to visit since this town has a tradition of making galss items. Experience the industry in its old fashioned way. 

 travelife Says:  Summer months (June-August) brings traditial guards by the municiaplity and performers to amuse people. So make your plan to visit Ebeltoft in summer to get the most out of it. 

 travelife Says:  Sunday could be quite calm as also Saturday afternoon. If you really wanna see this old part as a living town.. you should visit it in business hours. Otherwise you find only the restaurants are open. 

 travelife Says:  Some old Danish books are on sale outside a Genburg (second hand shop). I hope there are buyers for them! 

 travelife Says:  This is the old church in the old town with its unique tower top similar to that one of the old town hall. 

 travelife Says:  Some houses at the edge of the old town are inhibited who are not converted into butik or restaurants. 

 travelife Says:  If you wanna stay and eat Danish style then Kro is for you. This would be an unique way of experiencing Denmark. An old Kro (Danish Inn) in the Ebeltoft old town. 

 travelife Says:  Not that clear in the photo but there is direction how to get here and there in the old town. This old building is close to the herbor. 

 travelife Says:  Old books and other stuff are on display in the old town with their pricees on it. The butic itself is like a museum. 

 travelife Says:  Many of the houses look as though they are ready to fall down, with their centers bowed out and their lines uneven. But all of them are functioning some way and regularly painted. 

 travelife Says:  Several of the oldest buildings are now restaurants and galleries, so they are open to the public. Ebeltoft has attracted a community of artists, especially those who work with glass. Here in the picture is an old bakery. 

 travelife Says:  The tiny streets in the oldest part of town are cobblestone. There is a shopping area of several blocks that is for pedestrians only. 

 bscott1 Says:  My workmates and I felt it worth the drive from Århus to Ebeltoft solely to visit the Ebeltoft Røgeri. The seafood is great, the have a great dark beer, and the staff is friendly. I hope to have a few more visits here. We loved the name, but it requires some British humour...
