Samsoe is an island just next to Tunoe. About 3 km away, so Samsoe can easily be seen from the coast of Tunoe. Samsoe is a bit bigger than Tunoe. It has cars and more nightlife. some time in the future I'll make a VT page about Samsoe too.. Until then just mail me if you got any questions about Samsoe.

There are no cars on Tunoe. So no one's going to run your kids over :O) instead of cars there are horse carriages, tractors and bicycles. Instead of a taxies they have got Traxies. A tractor bringing people around :O)
It is also possible to rent bicycles.

Take bus 103 to Hov from Aarhus bus station (just a few hundred meters from the railway station.) The bus takes you right to the ferry going to Tunoe.

There is a little grocer's on Tunoe with average prices. It is a little supermart and it is part of the german chain of smaller supermarts called Edeka.
They got all kinds of everyday stuff.
