Getting to Svaneke by public transport is easy as you have both the Rønne-Aakirkeby-Svaneke as well as the Rønne-Svaneke-Hammershus bus to chose from. All buses stop in Svaneke's main square. The hub for all activity.

From the main square in Svaneke, there are horse trams in summer. They leave when the trams are more or less full so there are no specific departure times but they work from 9.00 to 17.00 and take you for a twenty minute tour of the town. In 2005 this was for a sum of DKK 20 per person.
