We actually came to Brasseriet as it was too crowded to get food in the main harbour area with the festival being on. This was pure luck as this restaurant is one of the best we've been to in Denmark and the only negative thing I can say is perhaps that when crowded as during the festival, the service is not quite up to it, but we never waited forever and we got what we ordered AND with a smile. It is not open that late in the evening and during July-August, my guess is that you're better off going there in advance to book a table but if you're prepared to sit inside on a sunny day you could be in luck as most people sit in the garden then. There is a lunch and an evening menu (see link) and we had lunch which for me meant a smoerrebrod in the heat, whilst kitan had a beef. They were out of the burger my daughter wanted from the child menu and she fancied nothing else on it, but had a cheese smoerrebrod. My dish was called "Kurt's special" and was salmon on bread with Danish smoked cheese and a crayfish on top. The latter always bringing a smile to a Swede :) The beef was superb and very nicely presented in its pan and the brie our daughter had was nicely mature. Yep, I'll come again if I'm in town.
Favorite Dish: I think I'd like most things actually. Just wanted to try something fishy in a fishing harbour.
