Assens Summer Rock is held in summer (August) once a year. It gathers young people on West-Fyn. Danish bands are nice. Many of them sing in English and are Beetles fan. Actually "Beatles" is poplur in Denmark among not only the old, but also the young. British sub-culture does influent the small country.
What should you prepare for the concernt: bring your "carpet". People sit on the ground listening to the music. Just take the grass as sofa at home, relax yourself. On the two sides there are mainly food stands. French Fries and fried sausage are recommended.
"A jacket" you must also bring. The concernt plays till 21:00-22:00. Although it's in summer, the temperature gets down sharply at night. It is so freezy and I was frozen.
Addition: Assens summer rock and local carneval are on the same day.
