Langeland is an island in the east of Fyn / Fünen and you may easyly go there by car, because there is a bridge between the 2 islands. The next trainstation is very far away so a private car is the only alternative to the public buses.
In 1964 we had a wonderful vacation in Langeland with our old Ford Cortina, see my pics, that are taken out of an old super-8 movie.
Me and my 4 brothers were sitting in the back seat of the car and a lot of luggage, tents and camping-gear in the trailer and on top of the car....
There used to be a ferry from Germany to Bagenkop during summer, I am not sure if it still exists !
