This is actually not a 'must see acticity' but more a 'can't avoid seeing activity :0)
If you go to Middelfart from the west you have to cross this bridge that connects Jutland (Jylland) with Funen (Fyn) or the old one. This is the newest one of the two 'Lillebaelt' bridges. 'Lillebaelt' is the name of the ocean you cross driving on the bridge.
It's not so new though, just newer that the old one that is still used, but mostly by the trains.
It's a beautiful bridge and the local people seem to be pretty proud of it. It's kind of like a symbol for the city of Middelfart, as the Eiffel Tower is for the people in Paris.
The reason for the headline saying 'small' even though it's quite big is because the bridge on the eastcoast of the island 'Funen' (Fyn in danish) that is connected to the island of Sealand (Sjaelland) is much bigger and it's named the Storebealt Bridge.
Lille means 'little' in danish and Store means 'Big'.
