Kongens Have isn’t only a nice park but a great place to spend the evening every Tuesday during the summer months.
They have what they call Torsdagskoncerter which is a concert from 19.00 to 22.00, local names but also international names, the Tourist Info will inform you about the program but we also saw a lot of posters all over the city during our visit.
So, what we saw was PINK FLOYD PROJECT, an amazing evening for us, we had the chance to listen all the classics tunes.
The place was packed with people, they had fun, listening to music, eating ice creams and drinking beers…

City Arkaden is a big nightclub complex located at the city centre on one of the main pedestrian streets. It houses different clubs in one place, so it was funny listening to different kind of music when we stood near a door that connects 2 different areas :)
We had a meeting with a local friend there so it wasn’t really our choice to visit the club. We had some beers at the bar, the place wasn’t packed and actually at about 23.00 it was kind of empty with only some people playing billiard and some others enjoying the first drink of the night.
Its open Thursday, Friday, Saturday after 21.00

Cafe Mouritz is the only real (in my eyes) cafe in Odense, that is not located in the city center. The cafe is located in the Skibhus district, and is located at Skibhusvej wich is a street filled with shops pizzarias and restaurants.
The food here is typical for danish cafes and the prices are reasonable.

AliBi is Odenses only supperclub. You can come down here in the afternoon, get some good food and stay as the place changes into a nightclub.
There is teather, stand-up, live bands and visiting DJ's. The resident DJ has a taste for bossanova-fusion.
The club was orignally located in Vintapperstr?de (read note on Vintapperstr?de in "things to do" section) but is now located by the side of the "cafebiografen" on Brandt's

This small icecreamsshop has supreme quality icecreams, once tried you are hooked. My personal favorite is the pistachios ice cream.
The shop is pretty popular, so some waiting time can be expected on sunny days.

Ryan's is Odense's only Irish pub. The athmosphere is relaxed and the inventory of irish origin. The bartenders speak english and do not always understand danish. There is live music here two or three night a week and you can also come here to see major football matches on a big screen.
Although prices are a bit expensive, this is the place to get all those irish beers.
On thursdays you can get students discounts all night long.

Cafebiografen means Cafecinema, and this is exactly what is so special about this place. Here you can come in for a cup of coffee, a beer or just to see a movie.
The movies being shown here are generally of a more artistic cut, meaning that they are not being shown in Biocity (the grand cinema complex).
