There is nothing special about shops in Svendborg. Souvenir, clothes and alike shops are in the center of the city, the furniture, food and other bigger shops are mostly located quite far from the center. The special thing about Svendborg (or even Denmark in general) - there are second-hand shops, very popular among danish people. They sell furniture, dishes, bikes, books, clothes, lamps, pictures and many other things. These shops are working only several days a week and they are full of people wanting to find something old and special or just to buy something cheap.
