Danes Love Ice Cream!
When you come here you should try and find an ice cream shop (shouldn't be too hard).

The best way to go is get 3 scoops, guf (a strawberry goo type stuff), flodeskum (whipped cream) and a flodeboller ( chocolate coverered marshmellow thingy). It's a fantastic way to enjoy an afternoon, licking an ice cream and sitting on a bench people watching.

See the link below for the address to a popular ice cream shop

Not just for kids..

If you think ice cream is the same everywhere, think again. At least many danes think Lydolph's Ice cream bar is the best in the Copenhagen area, and it has become a tradition to travel far and queue patiently on a hot summer's day to get a hold of the best ice cream in town. Actually, the ice cream bar is located in Hellerup, but if you are in the area (f.ex. to see the Experimentarium or go to Hellerup beach) during summer time, then do stop by. This place specialises in the biggest ice cream cones you have ever seen, filled to the brim with whatever is to your liking.Yummy! It's located on strandvejen in Hellerup, but if it's a hot summer's day, it's not hard to find, cause it's the only place with a long queue...and yes, it IS worth standing in it!
