I must admit that Danish cleanliness is up there with the best of them. Copenhagen could not be described as spotless, but they make a pretty good fist of things.

Even in the dodgier fast food chains toilets seemed to be hygenic. The only offputting thing was the number of toilets that had a bin for the disposal of needles.

Now i'm quite a liberal sort of person, but I really don't like the thought of visiting the toilet before tucking into a meal and being remined that some smackhead has probably been shooting up in the same cubicle that I'm using momemts earlier. Puts you right off your double cheesy whopper.

I have never encountered these mouth toilets in another country. Typically Copenhagen? I hope they don't bite, although I didn't see any teeth.

I'm sure this "Pissoir" in Nyhavn comes in handy on occasion, perhaps after a big VT meet-up at Nyhavn 17?

The city of Copenhagen is quite thoughtful with its numerous public conveniences. But I think this one would only be helpful for the guys.
