Hviids Vinstue ist Copenhagen's oldest wine bar, pub and cafe. It was established in 1723 and it is a perfect meeting place for both locals and tourists. I enjoyed Hviids Vinstue during a nice VT meeting with VT members from Scandinavia and Bangladesh.

Hviids Vinstue (or Hviid) on the corner of Kongens Nytorv and Lille Kongensgade was established as a wine bar in 1723 and is still as popular as ever. This place has been a meeting place for generations over a glass of this or that. Icelandic students at the University in Copenhagen frequented this bar and it was called 'Hvítur' in their language (the white one). It is sometimes very crowded here in the evenings.
Dress Code: There is no dress code that I can think of.
