One of the grooviest live venues in Copenhagen is loppen.
It's an old building with wooden structures, with good acustics, that has lot's of alternative bands playing.
It´s located inside the hippie community Christiania and it has a very Christiania vibe with danes less ordinary hanging out there and the place is kinda anarchistic in it´s own funny way.
Dress Code: Wearing suit and tie would make you look suspisious.
Dreadlocks and piercings is more the norm.
A very relaxed spot located in Christiania. Not the place to go if you want the fanciest cocktails, but it's great for some live music, chilled-out atmosphere and a great variety of music that you won't hear most other places. They have live music wednesdays to saturdays. Anything from hard rock to punk, grunge, or more mainstream tunes.
Dress Code: No dress code, but I would leave the coat and tie at home.
Whitewashed walls and a solid wooden floor make the frame around one of the most visited live music places and discos in town.
Musicians of every kind perform, but there is a slight overweight of alternative music. The bars in each end of the room serve soft drinks, beers and liqueur.
Dress Code: anything goes
