I ate at Cafe Oscar while visiting Copenhagen. The menu has a wonderful selection and my meal was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was attentive but not obtrusive. We had a table by the window and it was fun to "people watch" as we waited for our meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Copenhagen. They have both English and Danish menus for your convenience. The young lady who waited on us was very pleasant and gave us some great tips on things to do and see that were off the beaten path. You won't go wrong stopping at Cafe Oscar for your dinner.
Favorite Dish: I ordered the grilled salmon with roasted potatoes and veggies and my brother ordered the beef tenderloin. We shared half our meal with each other and I can tell you they were both absolutely delicious. My brother was working over in Copenhagen for a couple of months and Cafe Oscar became his favorite restaurant. You won't be disappointed ... everything on the menu sounds delicious.

Due to its central location (very close to the town hall square but a little far from the crowd) this cafe is famous also among the tourists. It offers a wide-spacious sitting areas with a good selection of food and cocktail drinks. There are also seating arrangement outside by the street. This cafe is considered as a venue for alternative community but rather has a mixed & relaxed environment.
