The usual Hard Rock Cafe standard with lots of music memorabilia and rock oriented decor. This one has a particular charm with a seperate dinning area and a small outside area as well.A good gift shop and helpful, friendly staff make this one of the better Hard Rock Cafe's ive visited.
Favorite Dish: We just had drinks here on two occasions, few beers and a coffees.Very good
OK, you all know what this is all about so no need for an introduction. But if you're a fan then it's good to know that there's one in Copenhagen as well. I thought it was quite pricey, even for Copenhagen so I didn't eat there. Had a look at their menu, and for example burgers were around 130 DKK (~17,5 EUR).
HRC Copenhagen is located right next to Tivoli, so it couldn't have a better location. Central station is also nearby.
Question 1: What's so special about a restaurant with branches all around the world serving pretty much the same food?
Question 2: Why go to the Hard Rock cafe in Copenhagen when you could easily go to a branch in your home town / country?
Well, after a busy day looking around the city, we wanted to find a place that served food we could be sure our children (10 and 13) liked.
The service was friendly, efficient and fast but we never felt rushed. While waiting for our table we indulged ourselves with cocktails from the bar (non-alcoholic for the kids naturally!). Once at our table, the waiters were attentive, great fun and were constantly checking that we were okay without being intrusive. They treated the children like equals, not talking down to them and making sure they were looked after as much as mum and dad.
Forget about the food (good quality as I would expect from the HR Cafe). The bottom line is that the service that night was fantastic. Our children begged to come back the following evening but we voted them down. As much as we enjoyed it, we wanted a bit more variety in our culinary outings!
The Hard Rock isn't going to be the first choice of restaurant for many visitors to Copenhagen but for those with teen / pre-teen children, this is spot on.
Metallica's Lars Ulrich's complete drumset on permanent loan to the HRC Copenhagen from Lars.
Favorite Dish: HRC Deli Sandwiches.
This dome style sandwich combines layers of crisp leaf lettuce, farm fresh tomatoes, sliced cheese and your choice of hand shaved Turkey, Ham or Roast Beef. All placed into a crusty dome of French Bread. Three superb choices: Smoked Turkey with herb mayonnaise, Juicy Roast Beef with horseradish mayonnaise, Country Hearth Ham with sweet zesty mustard.
