A lovely little steak house restaurant with friendly staff and a good choice of food and beverages.We didnt have to wiat longer than fifteen mins for our food even though the place was quite busy.A little on the expensive side though.
Favorite Dish: I had the Scandinavian ryb eye steak with chips and salad,the steak was delicious and done to excactly the way i asked,my partner had the grilled chicken which she also enjoyed.
Famous for it’s Danish open sandwiches (smørrebrød) at lunchtime till 5.00, and it’s varied breakfast menu. After 5.00 the restaurant serves a variety of soups as well as Scandinavian and continental entrées (fillet of ground beef with mushroom sauce and poached egg is magnificent!). It also boasts live music from midnight till late.
Most smørrebrød cost between 20 and 50 DKK (Danish Kroner), while a dinner entrée ranges between 70 and 200 DKK.
Atmosphere is wonderful: dark wood paneling and low lighting give this cozy restaurant a romantic feeling.
I called in as it seemed to have a good menu, and did not have a large number of people in the restaurant or bar area. Good service and pleasant staff.
Favorite Dish: The menu is not huge but good enough.
