Skt Gertrudes Kloster (Sct. Gertrud's Convent). Skt Gertrudes Kloster, established in 1975, is renowned worldwide for its unique decor, exquisite food, elegant wines and excellent service. This is an expensive gourmet restaurant set in the unique surroundings of an old convent, more than 700 years old. The building that houses the restaurant dates back to 1397.
Overrated gourmet restaurant. It’s not bad, but not great either. Not worth the money – and expect to spend at least DKK 1000 (€133) per person.
The décor is fantastic, though. Candlelight is the only lightsource everywhere in the vault-like basement, which really sets the mood. Good place for a romantic dinner, since you’ll probably distract eachother from the so-so quality of the food.
