The Illum in Copenhagen reminds me quite a bit of a Bloomingdales or Nordstroms. It's a large department store with everything from cosmetics to men's wear. It's a great store to hit for gift giving.
I saw everything from Lacoste to Dolce & Gabana to French Connection--great selection.
Illum is a massive department store on Stoeget. I don't like shopping in these huge department stores, maybe it's because they're usually way over my budget ;)
But it's nice to wander and look around a bit. In Illum there's also a nice cafe on the top floor where you can have a cup of coffee when you get tired of shopping!
What to buy: Everything you could ever want for fashion, interiors, design and beauty, it's all there!
What to pay: Didn't look at the prices, only assuming it was expensive... In the cafe the prices were about average, you'll get a cappuccino or cafe latte for 36 DKK.
Illum is wellworth a visit - it is a real Department store with everything you could possibly want!

I really enjoy visiting the store.
A big shop for to spend half of your day. It has a spectacular interior and a marvellous glass dome. Here you'll find almost everything you need.
