As a place of pilgrimage for all beerlovers, the Carlsberg Brewery ranks up there with the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. In fact, the approach is even more impressive, as you walk through the massive Elephant Gate. The new Carlsberg Visitors' Centre opened in 1999 and has replaced the old guided tour of the brewery. Nowadays, in highly automated breweries, there is not so much to see anyway. The new Visitors' Centre provides the history of the Carlsberg company and its development into one of the world's best known brands. And, of course, you get to taste the beer at the end.
A must vist if you are in Copenhagen.
Look up Claus or Malmo Jon I am sure they would give you a help on your tour.
It was a very exciting experience to see how beer is made.
And the best is: you are able to try all different beers who are produced by Carlsberg,
and these are many....
See how the beer is made! At the end of the tour they set you down at your table with your respective country´s flag, and give you all the different types of Carlsberg beer- for free!
