The bicycle rickshaws have hit the streets big time in recent years in Copenhagen and they are all over the center of the city and it´s a fun way to get transported around when you are there as a visitor as you have a perfect view of the street and can talk to the rickshaw driver and hear about the places you are passing.
Prices has to be negotiated with the drivers, but they are generally not too expensive.

Bicycle rickshaws are simply the best way to see the sights in Copenhagen. They act as a fun form of taxi aswell. Sight-seeing tours can be adjusted to suit the customers interests, and can start and end where-ever you want. You can be picked up at the harbour or train station, shown the town, and taken to your hotel. Or the other way round.
Prices can vary, but expect to pay about 150dkr for a half hour trip, plus a bit extra if you book in advance.

If for some reason you don't feel like cycling yourself, another option would be to take a cycle rickshaw.

Feeling lazy? We did at one point and took a couple of the bicycle rickshaws that operate around the central part of town, mainly for the tourists. This was a fun way of travelling and stopped the children moaning about sore feet!

You know not sure how much a ride is in one of these babies but you do happen to see alot of people using them. More than likley these are tourists that just are too lazy to walk around the town but in a way they look like fun. At the same time I've seen how people ride thier bikes and get around in this town. Kinda scares the hell outa me. I still haven't mustered up the courage to even ride a bike around town. I mean look at my pics. of how many people are out. These are sunday pics and half the shops in town are closed. But look how many persons are out and about!

This is a close relative of rickshaw where someone peddles from behind and you get to see Copenhagen in fron. There is seating arrangement for two and it starts charging from DKR 25. Both cash and credit cards accepted. The bicycle taxi gives you several possibilities of exploring the city. You can design your own tour with information and advice from the driver who knows the city's attractions and events. Or you can choose one of the theme tours.

Rickshaws have been popular among tourists and locals to get around city centre. Coming out of rail station you might surprize yourself seeing some European rickshaw-pullers instad of Chinese/ Malaysian / Bangladeshi. The fair is comparabel to taxi but fun is much more than that.

A fun way to get about was to hire a rickshaw. The four of us had a miny convoy (2 and 2) - good fun and a change from all the buses, trains and planes!

You can hire cycle rickshaw to go around at a relaxed pace. We saw these parked for hiring in the Nyhavn area. Look like they imported these straight from India!
