In Danish offices, it is common to have breakfast together, say Friday mornings. People take it in turn to bring Danish pastry and other things generally associated with a Danish breakfast.

There is a unwritten rule within the danish transportation system in denamrk. There is no talking on the buses especially talking loud. If you know someone then you can talk quiet.

absolutly must is to eat a hot dog "med det hele" at a peolsevogn. Most or dishes are with pork meat, thats why we have so many pigs every where.


When you are drinking at a party, you raise your glass and say Skol! Then you take a drink. Skol means Skull. Because I guess maybe the vikings drank from skulls.
Alot of Danish people speak English, but are unsure of their skills. Try to learn some Danish to put them at ease and then you can encourage each other to learn more of the languages.
Most people I ran into could either speak English or German.
