 | Denmark Nightlife | Tips 1 - 10 of 31 | | Tivoli Gardens is located just within a stone's throw from Rådhuspladsen and the pedestrian street Stroget right in the heart of the city of Copenhagen. It is one of the favourite nightspots in the city for locals and foreign tourists. It opened its door to the public in the middle of the19th century. Thus it is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. Tivoli Gardens was established by Georg Carstensen and it has a total area of approximately 80,000 square meters. There are approximately 25 thrill rides for both young and old. One of its masterpieces is the old wooden roller coaster known as the Mountain Track by the locals. It was constructed in the early 20th century and is considered one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the world. Tivoli Gardens also has the tallest carousel in the world known as Himmelskibet which has a total height of approximately 85 meters high with breath-taking view of the city. Other popular thrill rides in the amusement park include the Dragon, the Demon, the Monsoon, the Mine, the Dragon Boats, the Odin Express, the Ferris Wheel, the Golden Tower and the Spinning Top. Cafés, restaurants, theater and concert hall are also located inside Tivoli Gardens. Opening hours are between 11.00 a.m. and midnignt daily during the summer months. Please check the below website for more information!

I dont know if they have dancing places still in copenhagen, but when i was there long time ago one evening i decided to go dancing, enjoyed myself very much, when music stops you have to take the lady back to where she was sitting,I thought then very beautifull the Danish girls,I chose one and we started dancing and talking almost everyone speaks English in Denmark, she told me she is from sweeden,I did not mind she was very beautifull,we become good friends. Next day she showed me all of Copenhagen I would not have wisited if i did not meet her, maybe it was her beauty which made Copenhagen seem so lovely I do not know...
Can not remember..sorry.. Leave a Comment Theme: DancingAddress: Centre

This is Laura and me in her apartement in Roskilde. I have not seen her for almost 3 years (last time was in Bali), but it seemed to us that time has gone past without a trace... we were right there again! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Copenhagen's clubs tend not to really get going until after midnight, so many clubbers choose to spend time in the city's super-hip pre-club bars, such as Stereo Bar and Ideal Bar. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music

Copenhagen's nightlife is rich and varied and, as you would expect from this most hospitable of cities, very welcoming. Whether your taste is for cosy bars and cafes, live music, or cutting edge clubs, Copenhagen has a place to suit. Clubs such as Vega and Rust have an international reputation and regularly draw the best DJs and live acts from around the world.

The City of Aalborg. Three colleges, lots of young cool, people. All ages welcomed and locals are very friendly. Small city, all the pubs down one street.(Europeans are smart!) Beautiful around Christmas. Denmark brews a special Christmas beer.
Warm, respectable. No shorts or t-shirts. Jeans are fine. Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicDirections: Just ask anyone where downtown/pubs are. They're very friendly.Other Contact: Ask around for Jesper Hansen. If

Copenhagen has a rich nightlife. There are several great clubs and pubs. I was weak in this area and embarked on a pub crawl across Copenhagen with some travelers I met hitting a great dance club (which club's name eludes me) on this wild dusk 'til dawn evening. Leave a Comment Theme: Other
