Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen: Amusement Park
Tivoli Gardens is located just within a stone's throw from Rådhuspladsen and the pedestrian street Stroget right in the heart of the city of Copenhagen. It is one of the favourite nightspots in the city for locals and foreign tourists. It opened its door to the public in the middle of the19th century. Thus it is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world.Tivoli Gardens was established by Georg Carstensen and it has a total area of approximately 80,000 square meters.
